Founded by Joseph Robbie, the Miami Dolphins started out as an expansion team in the American Football League in 1966.  Having made the first perfect season in the National Football League of 1972 - which ended with the team getting the Super Bowl championship title, the Miami Dolphins 2008 NFL Team surely is the team to watch out for this season.  In Florida, they are the oldest major league professional sport franchise.  They also hold the record for being the first team to compete in three consecutive Super Bowls.  The Miami Dolphins used to play home court games at the Orange Bowl stadium in Miami.  After 1986, however, the team moved to what is now known as the Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens.  The stadium used to be called the Joe Robbie Stadium, after the founder of the team.
